چکیده
Taking advantage of external inputs, it is shown that shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks behave chaotically. The analysis is based on the Li-Yorke definition of chaos. Appropriate illustrations which support the theoretical results are depicted.

Linear matrix inequality approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data control
In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...
متن کاملLi-Yorke chaos generation by SICNNs with chaotic/almost periodic postsynaptic currents
We consider shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with inputs and outputs that are chaotic in a modified Li-Yorke sense. The original Li-Yorke definition of chaos has been modified such that infinitely many periodic motions separated from the motions of the scrambled set are now replaced with almost periodic ones. Another principal novelty of the paper is that chaos is obtained as soluti...
متن کاملAttraction of Li-Yorke chaos by retarded SICNNs
In the present study, dynamics of retarded shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) is investigated with Li–Yorke chaotic external inputs and outputs. Within the scope of our results, we prove the presence of generalized synchronization in coupled retarded SICNNs, and confirm it by means of the auxiliary system approach. We have obtained more than just synchronization, as it is pro...
متن کاملAnti-periodic Solutions for A Shunting Inhibitory Cellular Neural Networks with Distributed Delays and Time-varying Delays in the Leakage Terms
This paper is concerned with the existence and exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions of a class of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with continuously distributed delays and time-varying delays in the leakage terms. By using differential inequality techniques, some verifiable and practical delay-dependent criteria on the existence and exponential stability of anti-periodic...
متن کاملAlmost Periodic Dynamics for Memristor-Based Shunting Inhibitory Cellular Neural Networks with Leakage Delays
We investigate a class of memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays. By applying a new Lyapunov function method, we prove that the neural network which has a unique almost periodic solution is globally exponentially stable. Moreover, the theoretical findings of this paper on the almost periodic solution are applied to prove the existence and stability of p...
